The Wine

To complement the artworks, we’re pleased to partner with Mitchelton winery, who has crafted three unique wine varieties exclusively for Pord – a 2017 Shiraz, a 2018 Pinot Grigio and a 2018 Grenache Rosé. Each customer gets to choose from one of the three quality wines, and pair it with the artwork that most resonates with them, customising their own experience.

To ensure the vibrant fruit and finesse of the wine is maintained, it is recommended the wine is consumed within four to six weeks upon opening Pord.

Victorian winery Mitchelton is a natural fit for Pord. Redefining wine since 1969, it’s known not only for its award-winning Riesling and Shiraz and labels commissioned by local artists, but also for its in-house gallery, exhibition space, boutique hotel and fine dining restaurant.

Mitchelton has been proudly recognised as creating reputable, award-winning wines of regional expression, intensity of flavour and distinct personality.
